My book is The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan. It is 384 pages long. I chose this book because I love Greek mythology. It was a perfect pick because of the mythology and adventure. The Last Olympian is about a courageous demigod named Percy Jackson. He is the main character in the fight against the titan lord, Kronos. He has windblown hair, sea green eyes, and a hilarious personality. With his trusty sword, Riptide at his side, Percy is unstoppable. He is a powerful fighter who fights to the end.
Annabeth Chase is another important hero in the fight. Being a daughter of the goddess of battle strategy, Athena, she is a kick-butt fighter and amazing designer of buildings and other structures. She is armed with a razor-sharp celestial bronze dagger. Annabeth is a long time friend of Percy.
Percy and Annabeth are trying to defend New York from Kronos and his monster army. When Kronos arrives, they must drive Kronos’ spirit out of their friend, Luke’s body. Then they need to find out how to drive him into the Underworld.
I would definitely rate this book a full five stars!! I would also recommend this book to everyone who loves mythology, adventure, action, suspense, and a touch of crude humor. The Last Olympian is the last book in the Percy Jackson series, so be sure to read the books before it. It really ends the series with a BANG!
